Introduction

lesson one

The first description of God’s character is found in Exodus 34:6. This is also a passage often referenced in the Old Testament (see. Ne. 9:17; Ps. 86:15; 103:8; 145:8; Joel 2:13; Jon. 4:2). In these two verses, we learn of God’s attributes. Seeing these attributes helps us understand what God values and helps us understand how much of the Biblical story is designed around the character of God.
