The Bread of Life

In John 6:35, we read the words of Jesus, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.”

As we take the bread and the fruit of the vine, we remember that Jesus is our true source of life. Just as physical bread sustains our bodies, Christ sustains us. His body, given for us, and His blood, poured out for our sins, provide the nourishment we need.

This meal is a reminder that we do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). And in Jesus, the Word made flesh, we find life.

As we partake, let us renew our trust in Him, knowing that He alone satisfies our deepest hunger.
