How do we live as those made new in Christ?

We live in a time when information is available everywhere. You can listen to sermons, podcasts, devotionals, and short clips that teach the Bible in so many different ways. And that's wonderful. But here's something I've learned, both in my own walk and through years of ministry: There is no substitute for God's Word. 

How do we live as those made new in Christ?

How do we participate in God’s saving work? What does it mean to respond faithfully to the message of Jesus?

What does it mean to be complete? In a world that often tells us we need more; more success, more stuff, more approval, the apostle Paul reminds us that everything we truly need is already found in Jesus.

If someone asked you, “What is salvation?” how would you answer? Many would say it’s about being forgiven of sins or going to heaven.

When life feels unstable, when the earth gives way and chaos surrounds us, where can we turn? Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our refuge, His presence is with us, and His peace rules over the storms.

Jesus is led by the Spirit, not to a place of celebration, but into the wilderness. It reminds us that wilderness seasons are not always signs of failure or distance from God. Sometimes, they are the very place where God does His deepest work in us.

Jesus calls us to a deeper kind of generosity—one that’s hidden, humble, and heart-driven.

Jesus sits down on a mountain, surrounded by a growing crowd of disciples. This isn’t just a picturesque backdrop—this is intentional. It echoes the story of Moses receiving the Law on Mount Sinai. But Jesus isn’t receiving Torah—he’s teaching it. Not just repeating it, but showing what it was always meant to be.

Jesus doesn’t begin the Sermon on the Mount with commands—He begins with identity. “You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world.” These aren’t tasks to perform, but deep truths to live from.
